Biei (美瑛) is a small town surrounded by a landscape of gently rolling hills and vast fields. A pleasant way to enjoy the charm of Biei is by cycling or driving through the hills and visiting some of the flower fields and famous trees. The area northwest of the town center is named "Patchwork Road" and the area south of the town center is "Panorama Road".

Biei, a picturesque town in Hokkaido, Japan, lies near the heart of the island, nestled at the foot of the Tokachidake Mountain Range within Daisetsuzan National Park. This enchanting area boasts a natural beauty that frequently graces promotional media for Hokkaido.

👉Blue Pond: Located just southeast of Biei, the Blue Pond is a serene body of water that changes its vivid blue hue with the seasons and weather. Don’t miss the chance to see it illuminated.

👉Shikisai Hill Flower Garden: Spread across seven hectares, this flower garden offers a colorful spectacle. Lavender, sunflowers, poppies, cosmos, and purple salvia create a beautiful patchwork.

👉The Shirahige Waterfalls are very rare groundwater waterfalls is another unique feature of Biei. Getting There is not an issue we can reach the spot via by Train: Biei is accessible by train from Asahikawa and Furano. 👉The closest major train station is Asahikawa Station, about an hour and 20 minutes from Sapporo, By Plane also, we can reach Biei by plane from Asahikawa Airport. In summer, sightseeing buses run from both Furano and Biei Stations.

👉When we start Exploring Biei, there are Floral Patchwork: Fields of lavender, sunflowers, and other blooms create a stunning patchwork. Some locations allow visitors to stroll through the flower gardens. Special Spots like Renting a bicycle or taking a sightseeing taxi to explore famous trees like the Ken and Mary Tree, Seven Stars Tree, and Parent and Child Trees.
